For once, this Australian Grand Prix does not start completely with the maddening statistics of Marc Márquez in mind. Certainly, at Phillip Island, this Sunday, he will be able to overtake Mick Doohan in the number of victories since he is his equal since Japan with 54 successes in the premier category. But there will also be a certain Valentino Rossi to take into account. This weekend he should in fact become the first rider in the 70 years since the history of the Motorcycle Grand Prix began to reach the milestone of 400 starts..
Furthermore, at the end of October but in the year of grace 2009, Valentino Rossi crossed the finish line in third place behind Casey Stoner et Dani Pedrosa to win his ninth world title, his seventh in the premier category. And his latest… Will these memories take us back to the Doctor in his heyday on a track where he is the record holder for victories? Before answering this question, here is the painting that the whole world envy...

We will also point out that after winning the title of best beginner at the end of the Japanese Grand Prix, fabio quartararo can take the title of best private pilot in Australia. He is at the top of this ranking with 38 points ahead of Jack Miller. The Frenchman must be more than 50 points ahead of his closest rivals (Jack Miller, Cal Crutchlow et Franco Morbidelli) after Phillip Island to win this title of best driver of an independent team.
Finally, the podium of Quarterly in Motegi allows him to equal Johann zarco in third place on the list of French riders having won the most podiums in the premier category, behind Christian Sarron (18 podiums) and Raymond Roche (9). About zarco, here he is again on the track riding a Honda LCR…
