Barely got off his machine after finishing second in the Austrian Grand Prix, Pecco Bagnaia confided in front of the camera of the official website MotoGP.com.

We report his remarks here without any formatting.

Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati/second)

"This was not easy. It was difficult to attack at the beginning with this light rain. But as soon as I saw that it was going well, I started to attack more and more. The pace was good, but with only four laps left it started to rain a lot, and it was really difficult to keep control of the bike and stay on the track. »

" I I have to admit that Brad Binder did something extraordinary by staying on the track today while he still had the slick tires in these conditions, it's really something very difficult. He did a very good job, and for my part I was happy to see on the last lap that in the end there were many other drivers on slick tires. So I was able to do a lot of overtaking, and at one point I thought I was fourth, but later I realized that it was better than that with second place. »

" We We're really close to our first victory, but it's still not enough. We have to do more, but today the race was very consistent and I hit the tires a lot. Everything seemed under control, except for the onset of rain, but I'm still happy to finish in second place. »
