Avintia Racing: “ Thanks a lot and see you soon ! »
The long dream comes to an end with the end of the 2022 season, after the difficult decision to leave MotoGP in 2021. This year, the Esponsorama team raced in Moto3 under the name QJMotor Avintia Racing Team. The lack of new stimuli and the increasingly demanding schedule pushed the Spanish team to stop the costs. This team's MotoGP milestones include winning Scott Redding at the 2008 British Grand Prix. Maverick Vinales was the youngest Spaniard to win the title and, although these records have since been surpassed, the team has always shown determination and great competitiveness. Another great success was the victory of the “Campionato Open” in the MotoGP category in 2015 with Hector Barberá on Ducati.
The team was also pioneering from a technical point of view. He took the first Moto2 in championship history to the track and, along with the frame builder FTR, developed the first Honda Moto3. Not only great pilots, but also many mechanics and technicians have been forged by the hammer and anvil of Raul Romero that holds the top spot. " We just want to thank this sport and Dorna in particular for everything they have given us over these wonderful years. Thanks a lot and see you soon ! », concludes the official press release.
