This is the surprise of the day and it comes to us from Bradley Smith who seems to have a crush on Austrian causes. We know that the Briton will leave Tech3 to become an official KTM rider and that he toured with a Yamaha R1 from the Austrian Endurance Yart team to discover the track of the Red Bull Ring. Which will be the scene of the next Austrian Grand Prix this weekend. Certainly, but not only…

We learn it today, this trip with the Yamaha dedicated to the Endurance championship was not only intended to get to know the track which will relaunch the MotoGP world championship. It was also about getting to know a Yart team which, after its great performance at the last 8 hours of Suzuka, is in the running for the world title in the specialty.

A championship which will reach its final during an 8-hour race in Oschersleben. A deadline which could well be the Briton who won the Suzuka 8 Hours last year on the official R1 with Pol Espargaro and Nakasuga. This time it would be with Broc Parkes et Marvin Fritz that cohabitation would take place. The German event is scheduled for August 27, between the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic which will take place on the 21st of the same month and that of Great Britain which will take place on September 4. Bradley Smith will therefore still have to be careful not to miss his national meeting if all this is confirmed.
