Bradley Smith is in a more than delicate position when evaluating his options for a continuation of his career in MotoGP. He knows that he is no longer in the good books of KTM and his performances do not make him a priority for the teams in need of a rider for the next campaign. Not in the least considering a reconversion to Superbike, the Englishman is seriously thinking about forced retirement. In the meantime, he fulfills his duty by being, for example, the privileged spectator of the exploits on the track of a certain Marc Márquez...

Because you have to be convinced, what does Marc Marquez on the track, no one before him has ever done it with such diligence. It's about his repeated rescues from desperate situations that would have sent all of his colleagues to the ground. Except that he often recovers. At this level, and at this frequency, this feat is not a matter of chance or success. What the teammate confirms Pol Espargaro.

On Speedweek, he comments: “ he prepared to take risks and come out on top. This would normally make him nervous, but in fact it doesn't bother him. When you fall, your confidence takes a hit, but when you bail weekend after weekend, you take it as a simple warning that you're at the limit. He can do that and even laugh about it ».

But then, why not do the same as him? “ You can always try, but I don't believe many are capable of doing what he does. It's his own style. I've seen him training in motocross and dirt track. It's always the same thing: he takes risks and he reaps the benefits because he avoids falls. Nothing touches or affects you and very few can say the same. It's a fantastic technique ».

He finishes : " he's not unconscious though, because he doesn't do that in a race. On the other hand, he does it during testing and he even persists in trying to do it but rarely in races. Which means he tries everything during practice sessions before crushing us during qualifying or during the race ».
