In MotoGP as elsewhere, things do not happen by chance and what is happening at the moment at Yamaha is a demonstration of this. We thus saw a Franco Morbidelli rise from his ashes in Argentina, a return to the forefront of which the echo was an exit from Toprak Razgatlioglu clearly displaying his ambition to go to MotoGP in 2024, with Yamaha or with a another manufacturer, like Aprilia since the Noale brand was mentioned by the Turk. Toprak Razgatlioglu wants to go MotoGP in 2024 but Yamaha there are only two motorcycles, one of which is guaranteed fabio quartararo until the end of next year. The second is currently attributed to Franco Morbidelli whose contract with the Iwata firm in Grand Prix will end at the end of this vintage. It is therefore the Italian-Brazilian who is on the ejection saddle and his fate seemed sealed until his last beautiful performance in Argentina. The academician of a VR46 which Lynn Jarvis would like to see how his future satellite team will hold on to his handlebars…

The last episode of the standoff that has just begun arrives with this news: tomorrow Monday and then Tuesday, Toprak Razgatlioglu will turn on the M1 with Cal Crutchlow on the M1 under the eyes of Lynn Jarvis. The latter commented: “ First of all, I would like to say that it is a pleasure for us to be able to give Toprak another opportunity to ride the YZR-M1. I was unable to be present at his previous test, but this time I will be in Jerez to follow the tests and I will leave straight after to participate in the Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin next weekend ».

He finishes : " Toprak is an extraordinarily talented rider and I am very curious to see his speed on our MotoGP. He will have the chance to ride alongside Cal, who will be present for the development testing of our 1 YZR-M2023 ».

Andrea Dosoli also commented on this news regarding his WSBK driver: “ I would like to thank Yamaha Motor Company and Yamaha Motor Racing for giving Toprak the opportunity to test the YZR-M1 again. As the reigning Superbike World Champion, Toprak tested the Yamaha last year. This time at Jerez, a track where Toprak is traditionally very strong, it looks like the testing conditions will be almost perfect ».

Razgatlioglu he himself reacted to, about this test which will be very important to open up new chances for him to be at the start of MotoGP in 2024 : “ I can't wait to try the YZR-M1 in Jerez, a track that I really like. I thank Yamaha for giving me this opportunity ". To be continued !
