At Avintia, we have never been to such a party in 20 years of Grand Prix competition. So seeing your colors and your driver in pole position in a premier category Grand Prix makes you go off the hinges and lose a little discernment. Even more so with Ruben Xaux at the controls, a former pilot who is hot-blooded. However, four of joy at seeing an opponent threatening his driver for the gain of the top position, that goes badly… And that is worth an apology, which has just been made.

We understand that we are happy with our Johann zarco in an Avintia team which meets this Sunday in Czech Republic at the head of the starting grid set up on the route of Brno. But from there to jumping for joy upon noticing a fabio quartararo falling in the penultimate corner of a fast lap that could knock the Ducati GP19 from the top of the hierarchy is probably doing a little too much...

" Long live France ! »

A celebration which, in hindsight, is worth an apology. And the Avintia team presents them: “ The Esponsorama Racing team would like to apologize for the impression it may have made through the television images celebrating the fall of Fabio Quartararo“, we can read in a statement from the team.

« The team expressed great joy at how close they were to securing their first pole position since debuting in MotoGP in 20 years.

“We would like to apologize again to Fabio Quartararo and Yamaha Petronas. Long live France !“. Especially since Johann zarco is their leader!
