Australia is in the grip of a series of fires caused by man but which allows us to reflect on the issue of global warming. A national tragedy, an ecological and human drama since entire regions were charred. The damage is immense as the fight against the flames continues. Efforts that require resources, and a surge of solidarity has been created, which has also raised awareness of Australian glories. Among them, Casey Stoner, who takes stock of his action…

Jack Miller offered a helmet for auction, and Casey Stoner put one of his combinations on the table. The goal ? Raising funds for relief workers fighting the flames in a Australia who would have done well without such a tragedy. The World Champion and local child had offered one of his suits for auction, in this case the one with which he had won victory in Aragón in 2010, on the Ducati.

Casey Stoner was involved in this process by appearing on television on Fox Sport and by publishing various messages on his social networks. A call which was not in vain since Stoner harvested $25 thanks to the auction.

« I would like to thank everyone who bid for the auction of my leather and everyone who supported me in this initiative by sharing all the details on their social networks » Casey commented. “ We raised $25 and the winner of the auction is from New South Wales, so the suit will stay in Australia. Thank you very much to everyone who spent their time participating in this auction, the money will soon go to the victims of the fires in Australia I will send the leather to whoever won the auction. Thank you so much. »
