Bagnaia Catalonia

Pecco Bagnaia put things in order in Barcelona before embarking on a Catalan Grand Prix which follows almost a week from that of Italy at Mugello. A home deadline from which he came out empty-handed but also upset by the disappearance of Jason Dupasquier. He looks back on his state of mind in Tuscany and promises that for this deadline in Montmelo he has regained all his serenity.

The Ducati official Pecco Bagnaia was shaken last weekend by the disappearance of Jason dupasquier, an emotion which overwhelmed him and which sealed the fate of his race MotoGP while marking his comments of the moment. In Barcelona, before Grand Prix of Catalonia, he wanted to close this painful chapter of the season by being clear about his state of mind: “ what I can say is that my mistake was dictated by the fact that I was not focused, so everyone can have their say, but I know how I am and how things turned out. On the bike there was me and no one else ».

« It was a stupid mistake, something that in a normal situation I wouldn't have made. Climbing on the curb at Arrabbiata two, it's a mistake that I would never have made if I hadn't lacked concentration and serenity ».

Bagnaia: “this weekend all drivers will race in honor of Jason”

Then he clarifies, revealing that he was hurt by certain comments after Mugello: “ everyone, as I said, can think whatever they want, but I have also read bad things.  Forgetting the misfortune and speaking ill of the pilot was not in good taste. Thanks to the people I had next to me in training, I was able to accept this fact on Monday ».

He finishes : " it's not easy, it's our job, our sport, our passion, Jason had the same dream as us. You can't forget something like that, you don't get over it, but I think that this weekend all the drivers will race in his honor and they will do so for seasons to come ».
