It is not only the sporting future of Andrea Iannone that will be decided on October 15, 2020. The Tas hearing is underway in Lausanne. Andrea Iannone was suspended 18 months after being found positive for drostanolone following a doping test carried out at the 2019 Malaysian Grand Prix. The suspension was decided despite food contamination being recognized.

As Sky Sport reports, the hearing is divided into three phases: in the morning the trial focuses on the contaminated meat, in the afternoon on the examination of the hair, and only then does the examination is planned for Andrea Iannone which can be consulted by the parties. The day will end with final declarations, after which the referees will meet in chambers.
