Brembo, a world leader in the design and production of braking systems, is celebrating a very successful 2023 in motorsport with 70 new world titles to its credit. Brembo has been the preferred partner of victorious teams in all major categories of motorsport competitions, from Formula 1 to Formula E, and of MotoGP in the World Superbike series (WorldSBK).

Max Verstappen celebrated his third consecutive Formula 1 championship victory with Oracle Red Bull Racing using Brembo brake calipers, Pecco Bagnaia, with the Ducati Lenovo team in MotoGP, repeated its 2022 triumph with a complete Brembo braking system and wheels from Marchesini, part of the Brembo group, and in the WorldSBK championship, Alvaro Bautista from the Aruba.it Racing team – Ducati achieved its second victory in a row, also with a Brembo braking system and wheels from Marchesini.

Brembo has supplied braking systems to all teams in the Formula E championship. In Moto2, Peter Acosta, from the Red Bull KTM Ajo team, won with Brembo calipers and pumps, and Jaume Masia, from the Leopard Racing team, took victory in Moto3 with Brembo calipers, discs and master cylinders. They are among the many other world champions who have distinguished themselves on the world stage in motorsport competitions. All these pilots and racers have trusted the excellence of Brembo braking systems. A special mention must also be given to the 100th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where Brembo triumphed in the most important category, that of hypercars.

In 2023, Brembo surpassed 500 Formula 1 Grand Prix victories. All of this year's Grand Prix, 22 in total, were won by cars equipped with Brembo Group components. Working with major racing teams, the Bergamo-based company has won 507 of the 851 Grand Prix races held since 1975, when Brembo made its debut in Formula 1. These victories include 29 Drivers' Championships and 33 Constructors' Championships.

In motorcycles, Brembo continues to dominate the MotoGP championship and has achieved further success in the Moto2, Moto3 and WorldSBK series (also with Marchesini). The group won 572 victories in the premier category (500 and MotoGP) since 1978 when Brembo began supplying its braking systems to racing teams. Thanks to the high levels of performance and safety guaranteed by its components, Brembo has been, for the eighth consecutive season, the preferred partner of the 31 riders in the MotoGP championship.
