As soon as Jorge Lorenzo was made official in his place on the second Honda of the official team from the 2019 season, Dani Pedrosa published a short press release explaining that he would speak about his future quickly.

This was scheduled for this Thursday at 16:15 p.m. and the Dorna Sports SL cameras broadcast live this “extra-ordinary” press conference which was held in the hospitality of the Repsol Honda team.

Dani Pedrosa: “I was planning to come here to talk to you about my future, but the truth is that I can’t say anything yet. I can't say much more. I need time to think about this. But I don't think that will happen during this GP because I want to stay focused on the race this weekend so that it is the opposite of that of Mugello”.

It therefore seems that the Spanish driver is not ready to retire, and that is already excellent news!
