Former Grand Prix winner and world champion Dani Pedrosa will be able to put his experience and skills to the service of the Red Bull KTM MotoGP next month, after a few test laps at Mugello this week which confirmed that his injury to the collarbone has healed sufficiently.

Dani Pedrosa, 33, was present in the Red Bull KTM box at the Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto for the fourth round of the 2019 season, almost two weeks ago, and then completed his first laps on the development KTM RC16 in Mugello, Italy, this week as part of a private test.

The Spaniard, who spent thirteen years in MotoGP and retired from competition at the end of 2018, successfully recovered from a broken right collarbone and was able to complete several laps on the fast circuit and demanding team which will host the Italian Grand Prix on June 2.

After a positive assessment, Dani will begin testing for the factory in June.
