álex Kidneys is in good momentum as the 2019 season has just ended and the 2020 season is barely simmering, with the next winter test which will take place in Sepang on February 07. He thus won two victories and finished 4th in the World Drivers' Championship after being pipped to the post by Maverick Vinles, the Yamaha official.
It has now been three years since Davide Brivio and Álex walk hand in hand for the Suzuki cause. And the Spaniard has come a long way since his debut in MotoGP in 2017. He was then a rookie and closed the championship by ranking 16th with 59 points in his bag. A poor harvest, however, compared to the prolific results of Fabio Quartararo this season who finished 5th in the championship (with 192 points), best rookie and best independent driver.
The official Suzuki rider nevertheless found his cruising speed during the season that followed. In 2018, he finished 5th in the championship and collected 169 points but did not achieve a single victory.
