Trackhouse Racing

This weekend was historic for Trackhouse Racing and his team manager Davide BrivioThe Italian, who is set to become a consultant for Honda in 2027, can be satisfied with a weekend managed masterfully. Qualifying aside, the American team's riders clearly dominated the weekend, securing two one-two finishes in both the Sprint and Grand Prix. Naturally, it was a first, and some were quick to point out the rather enormous gap between the Trackhouse riders and the factory riders at Assen…

Davide Brivio confided in speedweek following the Dutch Grand Prix held at Assen. He was delighted with his team's performance. « For us, it's a dreamEvery team dreams of finishing first and second. We already achieved that in Saturday's sprint. At the time, we thought: "Well, it was only Saturday." But on Sunday, we repeated this feat at the Grand Prix, which is much more important.. » he declared.

He insists that the machines are exactly the same as those used by the factory. It was the pilots who made the difference. « We are the youngest team in the paddock and we are not a factory team.Ai Ogura joined us as a rookie and has progressed steadily. Raul Fernandez possesses immense talent and we have done everything to allow him to fully express it. It is important to understand that we have exactly the same equipmentWe share all information. Our engineers meet daily. There is total transparency. I think our drivers were simply better this weekend. They found a way to be faster. Especially in the last sector, Ai, but also Raul, were fantastic. he added.

As a reminder, Brivio was practically in tears on the evening of the 2025 Thai Grand Prix, for Ai Ogura's first appearance in MotoGP. He is particularly fond of this rider. « Honestly, Ai is one of the best pilots I've ever worked with. They are few in number, but he will undoubtedly remain among those I remember for a long time. When we chose Ai, we had some doubts. But we knew his potential. He is incredibly intelligent and learns gradually. I've never seen him regress. After his injury, we had to start from scratch, but that's just how he is. He doesn't progress at breakneck speed, but he builds his experience steadily. he concluded.
