We see a Dovizioso who took his invitation to this mechanical joust to heart. Marked and touched by a first victory, he seems much more upset than after his success on the Ducati at Sepang.
However, in Malaysia, he ended a drought that had lasted since 2009, while showing that he could win with the Ducati in a season where his teammate Iannone had already materialized from Austria.
But you have to believe that driving a Lamborghini in Valencia is not that simple. It remains that for its first Dovizioso came out victorious not in the race but in its category, which isn't so bad. He'll do it again tomorrow.
