Enea Bastianini

At the French Grand Prix, there was friction between Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini, initiated voluntarily or not by the former who proclaimed to anyone who would listen at the end of qualifying that he had just dominated, by helping his teammate to be his second on the grid, that Ducati would never find him a better box companion than Jack Miller. We know the rest with a Sunday where Enea Bastianini in turn made Ducati understand that he was the man of the moment and the best card to play in the championship for the brand which could only note that the Gresini rider had just beaten its official flock. And since ?

Since then, things seem to be getting better between the two Italians who could indeed find themselves teammates in 2023 under the red banner. Paolo ciabatti prepared the minds for this Italian duo within the Italian brand and the transalpine duo joins Mugello by road in a road trip organized by the manufacturer during which Jack Miller was the third thief.

Between Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini we play the cordial agreement

The two also discussed this French Grand Prix at the airport. Sky Sports thus reveals the words of bagnaia : " we met at the airport, Enea looked at me and said 'but where did you brake?! But there are, in racing, sometimes mistakes are made… ". Enea himself then echoed him: “ I made the same mistake on the first lap, this year the track was more difficult than usual, as soon as you braked a meter later you risked falling ».

And then the protégé of Charles Pernat made the first verse bagnaia : “ with Pecco we work well, we are going strong, we could help each other a lot ". In the same red stable of course… bagnaia replied, as if to support the trend given by the sporting director of Ducati Corse: “ it would be a victory for Italy ". We will see how this Italian Grand Prix will happen, which will be a real question of national supremacy, to know the rest of this story…
