Little by little, a hierarchy begins to take shape for the Spanish Grand Prix which takes place on the Jerez–Ángel Nieto circuit, with a Francesco Bagnaia–Fabio Quartararo duo which is held within 6/1000 of a second, then a square of aces Takaaki Nakagami–Marc Márquez–Maverick Vinales–Enea Bastianini grouped at less than 2/10, without even mentioning the three-of-a-kind Aleix Espargaro–Joan Mir–Jorge Martin who stand at barely more than a tenth, all at less than 0,3 seconds from the provisional poleman!

Suffice it to say that qualifying will be played out at loggerheads, but in the meantime, all the riders have 30 minutes, either to sharpen up or to prepare their bikes for the race which will take place on Sunday at 14 p.m. 25 rounds.

While waiting to discover more, as the 25 pilots prepare for this FP4, under a clear Andalusian sky and with temperatures of 23° in the air and 44° on the ground, let's take advantage of these few live moments thanks to to the official website MotoGP.com :

When the red lights go out... it's the usual Franco Morbidelli who rushes first, Fabio Quartararo the last.

In terms of tires, everyone uses a hard front and a medium rear, except Marco Bezzecchi who prefers a tender rear and fabio quartararo who opted for a hard rear.

At the end of the first flying round, Francesco Bagnaia registered 1'38.252 ahead John Zarco et Enea Bastianini: Ducati departure with fanfare!

On the next pass, it was the Gresini driver who was the fastest in 1'37.951.

Miguel Oliveira lowers the benchmark to 1'37.871 in his third flying lap, preceding Fabio Quartararo, Francesco Bagnaia, Brad Binder and Johann Zarco.

Joan mir It's getting really hot and has to go through the gravel trap...

Many pilots, like Marc Márquez where Alex Espargaro, light the first three sectors in red but lose time in the fourth which includes in particular the last hairpin bend.

A little before mid-session, most of the drivers begin to stop while the hierarchy presents us Miguel Oliveira before Francesco Bagnaia, Fabio Quartararo, Brad Binder, Johann Zarco, Aleix Espargaro, Enea Bastianini, Franco Morbidelli, Marco Bezzecchi, Maverick Vinales, Alex Rins, Joan Mir, Takaaki Nakagami, Luca Marini, Jorge Martin, Jack Miller, Alex Márquez, Marc Márquez , Stefan Bradl, Pol Espargaro, Lorenzo Savadori, Darryn Binder, Andrea Dovizioso, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Remy Gardner.

On resumption, the surprising Marco Bezzecchi achieves the best time in 1'37.853 before handing over command to fabio quartararo on a medium rear tire in 1'37.600.

In the wake, Francis Bagnaia sets a time of 1'37.534 which he improves on the next pass to 1'37.517.

The last five minutes see little improvement, and certainly none at the top of the table with the exception of Joan Mir who climbs into third position at the very last moment.
