MotoGP, Spain J1, Joan Mir (Honda/21) reveals the crisis: "Bradl's Honda is going in a direction that is not the one we want"

Honda's performance at the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez only highlights the crisis the team is going through, with top HRC representative Takaaki Nakagami finishing 16th, almost a second behind leader Pecco Bagnaia. Even more worrying, Joan Mir of the Repsol Honda team finished in 21st place, 1,4 seconds behind the best times.

Mir expressed frustration at the recurring inability to improve his bike's performance. “ We tried to make some positive adjustments this afternoon, and I think I can reach 1'36. This is our realistic goal at the moment, so we will continue to work on this, " said Joan mir, which is desperate to find a solution to its performance problems.

The Spanish driver also spoke of the additional difficulty imposed by the fact that many manufacturers use the track Jerez for private tests, which widens the gap with European competitors. “ The bike is not responsive as we would like. Every change we make doesn't seem to solve the fundamental problems. It's frustrating, " he added.
