Aleix Espargaró was the fastest in P2 of the MotoGP category in Jerez, scene of the Spanish Grand Prix, fourth race of the 2023 world championship. Confirming the excellent pace expressed during this morning's session, the Spaniard d'Aprilia took the lead in the general classification by time, stopping the clock at 1'36″708, a few thousandths faster than that of his teammate Maverick Viñales. An important result which will allow the two drivers of the team based in Noale to face qualifying this Saturday from Q2.

Third place for the KTM Jack Miller, followed by the Ducati Pramac of Johann zarco and the Aprilia RNF of Miguel Oliveira. Sixth time for the Ducati of the Gresini teamAlex Marquez. The Spaniard is still recovering from his crash at the Grand Prix of the Americas. Following the Spaniard, we find Marco Bezzecchi with the Ducati of the Mooney VR46 team.
