The press service of the official MotoGP.com website has compiled some statistics after the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez…

The Spanish GP in figures:

1 – This is the first time that KTM has been on the premier class podium at Jerez.
2 – With Brad Binder second and Jack Miller third, this is the second time there have been two KTM riders on a MotoGP™ podium with Styria in 2020 where Miguel Oliveira won and Pol Espargaró was third.
3 – At the Spanish GP, Miller finished P3 for his first podium since joining KTM this year. Miller has now reached the podium with three different manufacturers in MotoGP™: Honda, Ducati and KTM.
3 – With Maverick Viñales suffering a DNF and Marco Bezzecchi, Johann Zarco and Álex Rins crashing, only three drivers scored points in the first four GP races: Fabio Quartararo, Franco Morbidelli and Augusto Fernández.
4 – With Bagnaia, Binder and Miller on the podium, this is only the fourth time in the MotoGP™ era that no Spaniard has been on the podium at Jerez since the introduction of MotoGP™ in 2002… with 2002 , 2003 and 2021.
6 – Binder took his sixth MotoGP™ podium, all being first (twice) or second (4) places.
10 – There have been 10 different GP riders on the podium in MotoGP™ since the start of the season, which is the same number as last year at this stage of the season. Bagnaia and Bezzecchi are the only drivers to have more than one each.
13 – Francesco Bagnaia took his 13th MotoGP™ victory in Spain and is now tied with MotoGP™ legend Max Biaggi for fourth on the list of the most successful Italian riders in the premier class (two less than Andrea Dovizioso). Valentino Rossi leads with 89 wins.
20 – With Binder and Miller taking one each, KTM has now accumulated 20 podiums in the premier class.
30 – Thanks to Bagnaia's victory, Ducati is on a streak of 30 MotoGP™ GP races in a row with at least one rider on the podium.
