While waiting to discover more, as the 25 pilots prepare for this 20-minute warm-up, under a clear Andalusian sky and with temperatures still relatively cool at 18° in the air and 22° on the ground, let's take advantage of these few live moments thanks to the official website MotoGP.com :

When the red lights go out... Marc Márquez et Darryn binder are the first to set off, fabio quartararo the last.

In terms of tires, the medium is unanimous at the front, while the choices are shared between medium and soft for the rear.

The first reference is entered by Johann zarco in 1'38.995 ahead Fabio Quartararo, Jack Miller and Pol Espargaro.

Franco Morbidelli, Marc Marquez and Pol Espargaro followed one another on the next pass at the top of the table, the Honda driver from Granollers registering 1'38.369 before fabio quartararo does not win provisionally in 1'37.987 ahead Johann zarco.

The Devil accelerates in 1'37.779 in his third flying lap and the two brothers Márquez come between the two Frenchmen.

We then notice that Francis Bagnaia still hasn't recorded any time, despite having done an entry-exit lap at the start of the session...

At mid-session, the hierarchy is made up of Fabio Quartararo, Marc Márquez, Alex Márquez, Johann Marco, Franco Morbidelli, Brad Binder, Aleix Espargaro, Pol Espargaro, Joan Mir, Remy Gardner, Miguel Oliveira, Jorge Martin, Enea Bastianini, Jack Miller, Maverick Vinales, Alex Rins, Andrea Dovizioso , Fabio Di Giannantonio, Lorenzo Savadori, Takaaki Nakagami, Marco Bezzecchi, Luca Marini, Stefan Bradl, Darryn Binder and therefore Francesco Bagnaia without timer.

Things don't stop there and Takaaki Nakagami achieved the best time of the session in 1'37.711 with a new tire while George Martin moved up to third position.

Things calm down a little at the end of the session, with most drivers working more on their race pace than attacking the clock. Francis Bagnaia nevertheless moved up to fifth and then third position.

Finally, Takaaki Nakagami remains the fastest while some tested the degradation of their rear tire over more than 20 laps…
