The Automobile Club de l'Ouest, involved in motorcycling on the Le Mans circuit through the French MotoGP Grand Prix (May 17), the 24 Heures Motos (April 19) and the FSBK round (March 29), has just broadcast this morning the following press release.

Information about coronavirus

The Automobile Club de l'Ouest is attentive to the evolution of the situation linked to the Coronavirus.

At this time, the competent authorities have not informed us of the need to postpone or cancel any of our sporting events scheduled for the coming weeks. The calendar of events is therefore unchanged at this stage.

The ACO is confident that the 24 Hours of Le Mans will continue on the scheduled date between June 7 and 14, 2020.

In order to anticipate a possible decision forcing the ACO to modify the other dates of its sporting calendar, our teams are mobilized and able to provide the following details:

  • The ACO's priority is to maintain all of its sporting events for the 2020 season. In the event that maintaining certain dates is not possible, the ACO has already planned to postpone these events until a later date in 2020.
  • In the event of cancellation, spectators will be able to have their ticket refunded.
