The last weekend, fabio quartararo gave a nice surprise to Diego Goretti, his young fan and driver of the Italian Supersport 300 Championship, currently injured.
Diego Goretti a 21 years old, he was born in Ancora and lives in Senigallia. He took up motorcycling at the age of 13. In 2015 he then competed in the European Championship with Luca Pasini's team, achieving a splendid third place in the final race at Assen. He then landed in Premoto3 in the team of Paolo Simoncelli then in Supersport 300, a category in which he still competes in CIV.
« In 2022 I raced with Chiodo Moto Racing – said Diego Goretti - We were competitive but we didn't get the results we hoped for. Next year we will continue together and we hope to fight for the Italian title ».

How did you get injured?
« I was injured in Cattolica during a test session with my bike. Unfortunately, I fell hard on the left side of my body, mainly hitting my shoulder. I was taken to the Ceccarini hospital in Riccione where they put a corset on to heal the hematoma and now I'm doing physiotherapy. The injury happened immediately after the end of the championship so I can count myself lucky ».
How did you feel when you saw Fabio Quartararo's message?
« I was very happy, I respect him so much for what he has become and for his incredible talent. He is very kind, well: he is truly an extraordinary person, to be admired. I had the opportunity to meet him in person in Misano a few years ago, when he was racing Moto3. I really hope to compete with him at the World Championship in the not too distant future ».
