A real breath of fresh air is currently blowing through MotoGP, generated by a new generation of riders of which Fabio Quartararo is undoubtedly the best example.
This new wave is characterized by a “Cool Attitude”, both in clothing and behavior (Fabio Quartararo), mischievous humor (Jack Miller), sometimes by an offbeat haircut (Álex Rins) or outspokenness (Johann Zarco), but always through a kind of camaraderie between pilots which does not prevent the greatest professionalism!
As an increasingly common consequence, these young drivers often meet up to train and have a good time together, even if they do not have a private track and a home academy.
This has been the case in recent days for Fabio Quartararo, Johann Zarco, Álex Rins, Joan Mir, Pol Espargaró, Marcel Schrötter, Xavi Virgo, Albert Arenas, Leon Haslam, Alex Lowes and the Flat Track champion Ferran Cardus, the latter being at home on the trail of the now famous Rocco's Track SL. near Barcelona.
On the program for these few days, Flat Track and off-road training, all in a general good mood and frank camaraderie, under the always pleasant Catalan sun.
fabio quartararo summed up this nice initiative for us as follows: “Super nice this off-road week! Getting back on a motorcycle with other riders allows both fun and calibration, especially when it's not our motorcycle specialty. But I love flat track and Rocco's Track, near Barcelona, is the perfect place to do it. We really had a great time together during these few days, but I can't wait to be back in Sepang for the first MotoGP tests! »
