Fermin Aldeguer

Fermin Aldeguer, the young and promising Spanish rider, is shooting like a shooting star towards his first season in MotoGP with the Gresini team in 2025. After the official presentation in Imola, the 19-year-old Murcian expressed his enthusiasm, as if every word was a firework illuminating his new chapter.

Fermin Aldeguer, made his MotoGP debut at the official presentation of the team GresiniThe Spanish rider, who joined the premier class after a 2024 season in Moto2, has shown himself to be ambitious and determined to succeed. Aged 19 years, he shared his first impressions and outlined his goals for this new adventure. This week has been different for me, with two days of photoshoots and preparations for the presentation. I am very happy to see the bike, its new design and to be with this incredible team, family and the best bike" he said with palpable enthusiasm.

His preparation for his first season in MotoGP is not limited to the visual aspect, of course. Aldeguer had the opportunity to test the bike in Barcelona at the end of last season, a moment he describes as " very positive". " I felt good from the beginning", he said. But he remains aware that progress is necessary. There are things I need to learn, and I trained this winter to improve. In Malaysia, I will have to stay focused, work calmly, not look at times or positions, just enjoy and learn lap by lap. »

Moving from Moto2 to MotoGP also involves a significant physical adjustment. The power of a 1cc machine requires special preparation. A MotoGP is more difficult to manage, and the races are always longer at 100%. But I didn't change my physical preparation much, because I already had a good level. I only worked a little on the technical aspects, like using the rear brake more and adjusting my position."

The young Spaniard also praised the team spirit of Gresini, which he considers a real family. I am surrounded by a great team, it is a family and I feel very supported, it gives me confidence to continue growing"

With a solid team, marked by the successes of Marc Marquez and the technical management of the latter, Aldeguer is ready for a demanding but promising season. His goal? Enjoy every moment, learn from every round, and above all help the team achieve the best possible results.
