Marco Bezzecchi offered to Ducati his fourth consecutive MotoGP at Le Mans after Danilo Petrucci (2020) Jack Miller (2021) et Enea Bastianini (2022). This is Ducati's third treble with Valencia in 2021 and Argentina earlier this season. For its part, Johann zarco finished P3 for his 17th MotoGP podium and his second this year after his P2 at the Argentine GP. The Frenchman now has one podium less than Christian Sarron, who occupies second place on the list of French drivers with the most podiums in the category behind fabio quartararo (29). With his 17th podium, zarco also extended his record as driver with the most podiums without a win in the category (ahead of Colin Edwards with 12).

Le Mans was the first podium of the season for Martin and the first since his third place last year at the Valencia GP. Augusto Fernandez finished fourth. The KTM/GASGAS rider thus obtained the best result of his rookie season so far. It was a great weekend for the team Tech3 since Daniel Holgado took his second Moto3 victory and the team's first on home soil.

Marc Marquez fell, and therefore, at the Italian GP, ​​there will be 595 days since his last victory at the 2021 Emilia-Romagna GP. For comparison, there were 581 days between Valencia 2019, his last victory before his arm injury suffered at Jerez in 2020, and his next GP victory of Germany 2021.
