The Shoulder Cam, a new television camera mounted directly on the pilot's left shoulder, made its debut at Portimao last year, with breathtaking images, allowing you to be as close as possible to what the pilot feels. pilot at the helm of a 300 hp prototype. Since then, these impressive images have unfortunately no longer been available to us. But for the French Grand Prix this weekend, Aleix Espargaró is equipped with it and the images are still just as impressive!

Dorna has long been at the forefront of innovation to provide the best possible experience for its viewers. From gyroscopic cameras to those integrated into the dashboard, allowing you to see the pilot up close, Dorna tested in 2021 at Portimao a camera integrated into Alex Rins' suit, at shoulder level.

This new feature offered by Dorna, the “shoulder cam”, allows for a new kind of experience. This allows you to be in the pilot's place, and to realize how many actions the pilot has to perform on the handlebars during a lap.

But since then, these superb images have no longer been offered to us. We had to wait for the return of this technology to Le Mans, where Aleix Espargaró was equipped with it for the occasion: enough to offer us breathtaking images!
