France

France is hosting MotoGP this weekend and its sequel on the Bugatti track at Le Mans to take it through the fifth meeting of its season. But not only. La Sarthe will also be the place written in history as the one which celebrated the 1th Grand Prix in a history that began in 000 with the Isle of Man TT. For the celebration to be complete and for the story to become legend, it would be necessary that, on the podium of the major category, we sing a Marseillaise forgotten since 1949...

The moment was then that of Pierre Monneret who awaits his successor from pilots' paradise. Two French people are ready to take up the challenge: fabio quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) and Johann zarco (Prima Pramac Racing). The two tricolors will undoubtedly be the two stars of the weekend off the track, but what about their chances of victory?

Fabio Quartararo and Johann Zarco will be very busy and highly anticipated this weekend at the French Grand Prix

The representative of Yamaha has had a checkered start to the season with falls but also a good third place gleaned in Austin. Only 11th overall, the Niçois is however one of the three drivers on the grid to have scored points during all the Sunday races of the season, which testifies to a certain regularity.

For his part, the Cannes native from the Pramac team completed two exceptional first rounds but remains after a fall suffered in Jerez. Ninth in the ranking, the 32-year-old driver is still chasing a first success in the elite. Achieving it in front of his compatriots would be a godsend to forget too long a wait. It will be recalled that, during the 2021 edition of the French Grand Prix, the two tricolors were on the podium, surrounding a Jack Miller who was still on a Ducati.

The event is therefore not to be missed under any circumstances. Exactly, here is the program to be faithful to each appointment.
