Marc Marquez

After the FIM announced that Marc Marquez no longer had anything to fear from a double long lap punishment, thus validating his total incompetence in handling this type of situation, it is now the doctors who reassure the eight-time World Champion on the fact that his injury is consolidated. The Honda official will therefore be in his box this weekend for a French Grand Prix where he will not find Miguel Oliveira on the track, whom he injured in Portugal.

The RNF pilot is in fact recovering from another injury which is the consequence of another collision in which he had nothing to do, which took place during the last meeting in Spain with a Fabio Quartararo who was punished and who served his sentence in Jerez. It remains thatAleix Espargaró promised that he would say a few words to Marc Marquez on the events of Portimao from which he was absolved. So many elements to pour into a general atmosphere that is tense to say the least on the eve of a big meeting with the FIM stewards whose competence, credibility and legitimacy have never been so contested in MotoGP.

Less than Marc Marquez returns this weekend in box Repsol Honda. After consultation with three different medical teams, everyone involved is satisfied with the recovery of his hand injury and the driver of the official HRC team will therefore participate in the Grand Prix of France. The main focus of the weekend will be to get back up to speed and pick up where he left off in his work with the Honda RC213V. The circuit has seen the Spaniard claim victory three times in MotoGP.
