This press conference as a prelude to the German Grand Prix MotoGP 2025 on the Sachsenring gathered Marc Marquez, Marco Bezzecchi, Peter Acosta et Fabio Quartararo.

Unfortunately, after the general questions asked by the official journalist of the MotoGP.com website, the first question from the journalists present literally dampened the atmosphere and shortened this very brief press conference in an almost unprecedented way...

As usual, we report here in full the words of Fabio Quartararo, without any formatting, even if it is translated from English.

🎤 Hello everyone, welcome to the pre-race press conference for round 11 of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship. As we have reached the halfway point of the season, we are here at the Sachsenring for the Liqui Molly Grand Prix of Germany, the 11th round of the championship, as we mentioned. We are in the company of four riders, led by Lenovo Ducati rider Marc Marquez. Marc leads the world championship by 68 points. Winner of the last three sprints and Grands Prix, Marc of course boasts an impressive record here at the Sachsenring: 8 MotoGP wins, 11 in total, and this weekend, Marc is looking forward to his 200th MotoGP race.
To Marc's right is Aprilia Racing rider Marco Bezzecchi. Marco is sixth in the world championship, third in the sprint at Assen, and second in the Grand Prix, his first double podium finish since San Marino in 6.
On the left, we welcome Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider Pedro Costa. Pedro is 8th in the world championship and has already claimed victories in Moto3 and Moto2 here at the Sachsenring.
The final addition to the line-up is Monster Energy Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo. Fabio is 11th in the world championship, has secured four pole positions in the last six Grands Prix, and, of course, Fabio won here at the Sachsenring three years ago, in 4.
Gentlemen, welcome to all four of you!

🎤 Now let's move on to Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo. Fabio, as I mentioned, you've secured four pole positions in the last six Grands Prix. Lap speed hasn't been an issue lately. Is the Sachsenring a track where you think if you qualify well, you'll be able to put the Yamaha in the fight for the top spots?
Fabio Quartararo:
“Well, actually, I think it’s very important to start from the front or second row. But our main problem is more about consistency, sprinting and racing. Of course, I’ll do my best to be fast in qualifying, but we have to keep working very hard on race pace, especially when we have to be consistent compared to the other manufacturers, because that’s where we struggle.”

🎤 Fabio, we saw once again last week that Yamaha was testing the V4 engine in Brno. Everyone is wondering when Fabio Quartararo will try the V4. Fabio, do you know, and what have you heard about this project? Is Yamaha happy with the progress, and do you expect to see it racing this year?
"Of course, I'm going to test it, I think around September, during the tests at Misano. Yes, of course, the feedback is positive, but you know, until I test the bike, only the engineers talk to me about it. But until I test the bike, you can't really understand its potential."
