Gigi Dall'Igna, in an interview with Sky Sport MotoGP, in fact explained the reasons behind the choice of Marc Marquez : " we have realized in recent months that it can really make the difference on our motorcycle. GP Desmosedici has reached incredible levels, and having two drivers of this caliber gives us the best chance of winning the world championship. As Max Biaggi said, motorcycle racing is not a classical music concert. Anything can happen, and having two drivers capable of fighting for the title is the best strategy at the moment. I've thought a lot over the last few days, but I'm convinced I made the right choice. We made our final decision on Sunday after the race. In 2025 we will have the best team in Ducati history and I am delighted about it »
The Director General of Ducati Corse rejoices in the presence of Marquez, while remaining aware of the competition: “ his arrival is not an objective in itself, our goal is to win championships. Having Marc and Pecco allows us to aspire to this goal. Next year will be more difficult because our competitors have strengthened with the arrival of some of our pilots »
Gigi Dall’Igna: “ I am worried about sports management, because the current climate in the Ducati team is wonderful »

As for the atmosphere within the team, Dall'Igna hopes that the arrival of Marquez will not disturb the current harmony: “ from a motorcycle development point of view, I'm not worried at all. We have always followed more than one pilot and believe this approach can be beneficial for development.
