Pramac Racing manager Gino Borsoi is at the heart of multiple major projects. Currently fighting for the MotoGP title alongside Jorge Martin on a Ducati, he is also preparing for a major switch to Yamaha, while leading the launch of a new Moto2 team for the 2025 season.
The Italian takes the reins of the Moto2 project under the aegis of Pramac, an initiative in collaboration with Yamaha . Starting next season, Pramac will replace the current Yamaha Master Camp team led by Angel Nieto Junior. This partnership, based on a collaboration with VR46 and staging Ayumu Sasaki et Jeremy Alcove, will give way to the structure led by Borsoi. From the first MotoGP tests in Valencia, scheduled just after the season finale, the riders Yamaha will be supervised by the team Pramac on a technical equal footing with the Yamaha factory team.
Borsoi explains the genesis of this new mission: “ there are approximately five weeks, Yamaha officially asked us to become active in Moto2, and I accepted this responsibility with enthusiasm.. » He underlines the importance of this stage, which is added to the race for the MotoGP title in 2024: « We have a unique opportunity with Jorge, and he is our top priority.. But at the same time we have to think about the future. »

As for the team's composition, one name emerges insistently: Tony ArbolinoThe Italian, nicknamed "Tiger Tony", has already been the subject of discussions to join the Pramac MotoGP team, but Yamaha finally opted for a more experienced pilot to start the project. Arbolino, currently at Marc VDS, could make his debut in 2025 under the Pramac banner in Moto2, since his current position will be filled by Jake Dixon next season.
Despite his busy schedule, Borsoi does not lose sight of Pramac's main objective in 2024: win the title MotoGPThe team manager is however determined to set up a competitive team in Moto2, aiming for the best results from the start: « We also want to compete for the best results in Moto2, and it is clear that this requires a first-rate team »
To Gino Borsoi, who juggles demanding duties in MotoGP and Moto2, may well need more hours each day: " what I wish most, is that each day has at least 25 hours. » In the meantime, he remains focused on the current challenges, with the hope of winning the MotoGP title this season, while preparing Pramac Racing to new successes in 2025.
