Australian Jack Miller, pillar of the premier category for several years, is going through a particularly difficult season as a KTM official. His future in MotoGP seems more and more uncertain, and the outcome of this season could well seal his fate. And he is the first to recognize it.
Despite some outbursts, Jack Miller failed to confirm the hopes placed in him since his arrival at KTM. The results are not there and the announcement of his departure from the Austrian brand at the end of the 2024 season has cast a damper on his career.
Alors que le British Grand Prix this Thursday is in its preliminaries at Silverstone, the Australian pilot spoke about his situation: “ there are various rumors about what I will do next year, but I will say that it is like this: as of today, I do not have a single offer on the table and therefore no options for 2025."
If a passage to the World Championship Superbike seems to be a possible option, Miller don't close the door MotoGP : " I certainly wouldn't rule out riding a Superbike. However, I still feel like I'm not finished in MotoGP yet."
Jack Miller: “ we don't play football here. A goal alone does not solve any problem »
The Australian remains determined to give his best until the end of the season: “ we're only halfway through the season. I will give everything, continue to do good work and try to produce as many good results as possible."
The next races will therefore be crucial for the future of Jack Miller. His performance will have a direct impact on the offers he could receive for the 2025 season. If a return to Pramac Racing seemed like a logical option, even under flag Yamaha , it seems that this avenue is less and less probable.
MotoGP is a demanding sport where results are paramount. Miller is well aware of this: “ what is both fascinating and frustrating is that our sport is very complex. We don't play football here. A goal alone does not solve any problem."
The future of Jack Miller is written today race after race. The Australian will have to fight to remain competitive and convince teams to give him another chance. His track record and his personality make him a driver appreciated by the public, but sporting results remain the main criterion in this ultra-competitive environment.
