After a well-deserved summer break, MotoGP is making its big return to the Silverstone circuit to celebrate its 75th anniversary. The Repsol Honda team, dressed in an exclusive vintage livery, arrives at the start with new ambitions.
To celebrate the 75 years of the motorcycle Grand Prix, all the teams of MotoGP will feature retro liveries. Honda revealed a particularly successful design which should delight fans. “ I have to say that ours is probably the most beautiful MotoGP I have seen“, exclaimed Joan mir. The Spanish driver, who recently extended his contract with Honda, approaches this second part of the season with reinforced morale.
« I am very happy to see my future with HRC confirmed" , did he declare. After some difficulties at the start of the season, Mir hopes to regain the speed and consistency that made its reputation. Silverstone, with its fast and technical route, represents a new challenge for the Spanish driver.

For its part, Luca marini continues his progression within the team. The young Italian, who scored his first points of the season in Germany, appears more and more comfortable on his Honda. " Silverstone is a complex, very long circuit with many different sections, a good way to evaluate yourself“, he explained.
Despite the celebrations and the new developments, the team's goals Repsol Honda remain the same: progress, gain competitiveness and achieve new podiums. “ What really matters, this is the progress we are making. The objectives remain the same as usual" , has recalled Joan Mir.
