Since its MotoGP debut in 2017, KTM has set itself an ambitious goal: to reach the top, as it has done in other motorcycle sport disciplines, including motocross and the Dakar Rally. However, despite podiums and victories, the road to supremacy remains fraught with pitfalls for the Austrian manufacturer, which struggles to match the dominance of Ducati.

KTM does not lack resources and investments. With a test team including experienced drivers like Dani Pedrosa et Pol Espargaro, and the development of the young prodigy Peter Acosta, the manufacturer is putting all the chances on its side. The arrival ofEnea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales within the team Tech3 in 2025 also shows their desire to strengthen their squad to become a real contender for the title.

Hervé Poncharal, team owner Tech3, recently highlighted the group's colossal effort PiererMobility, Who " works harder than anyone else » to achieve its goals.

Francesco Guidotti: “ KTM works day and night to progress »

This feeling is shared by Francesco Guidotti, Team Manager of KTM, who admits that the team is in a " full attack condition ", despite disappointing results after Mugello: " we had to readjust our goals and expectations, but the team is working day and night to progress »

Guidotti also highlights the continued efforts of KTM in all areas of development: " We are moving forward on electronics, aerodynamics, engine and frame. The carbon frame is still new, and we have a lot to develop. » He acknowledges that 2027, the date of the next major regulatory change in MotoGP, seems both near and far away. However, KTM cannot afford to rest on its laurels: " we must continue to develop our bikes to win races until then »

KTM does not slow down the pace and continues to refine every aspect of its machine. Although the road to final victory is still long, the Austrians are determined to achieve their goal in MotoGP.
