After a start to the season marred by incidents, Marc Márquez has resumed its cruising speed since the Austin deadline. By that I mean that he once again puts on victories like others do pearls. He has settled into his favorite place in the title race, first, and if he swears not to look at the statistics, which inevitably drives him into panic, he cannot ignore them. Incidentally, from Austin, he joined the exclusive club of drivers who claim to be unbeatable on a particular track. He has six successes in Austin, which puts him on par with the Australians. Doohan et Stoner. Still active, he can think of the series of nine unbeaten visits ofAgostini carried out between 1965 and 1973 on the Imatra route.
