This weekend is perhaps one of the least favorable Grands Prix for a Marc Márquez whose general supremacy is always undermined on the particular route of the Bugatti. A circuit of brutal accelerations and braking which delights Yamaha who have won success there over the last three years. But this time, Iwata's bikes seem to be inferior while the Ducatis have progressed and the Suzukis have regained their form from the time of Viñales who finished third in 2016. So, what will Honda be able to do this year?

The HRC will first try to defeat this French route. Marc Márquez there are two victories and two podiums which is half as many as Dani Pedrosa. And the six-time title winner did not see the finish in 2016 and 2017. But this time Honda is bringing in its boxes the new fairing seen during the Jerez and Mugello tests, site where MM93 fell heavily. So, if we take stock of all this, we arrive at a Marc Márquez who knows that a complicated game awaits him in Sarthe.

« Le Mans will be a circuit where we will have to work hard to give ourselves the maximum in order to continue our current good momentum. We arrive there this time with a bike that is better developed than in previous years. I have experienced as many ups as downs in France and each season is different. You will also have to deal with the weather, find the right settings and choose the right tires. As always, we are approaching the event positively. We'll see how it turns out ».

In the event of consecration this Sunday, Marc Marquez would record his 38rd victory in MotoGP and he would thus become the equal of Casey Stoner.
