Good news for some (many), bad news for others (few), the HJC Grand Prix de France will be reduced by an additional 145 meters.

Already reduced by 2 laps in Moto3, one in Moto2 and MotoGP, from this year due to a harmonization of the length of the races on the calendar (see here), it is this time following the moving of the starting line that the French event will see its distance very slightly reduced.

Concretely, the starting line will now be located 145 meters ''higher'' than before, a modification made primarily to allow the cars of the 24 Hours of Le Mans to all appear on the starting straight, but which will also benefit the spectators of the HJC Grand Prix de France which will take place on May 20.

The finish line not changing, this shortens the Le Mans event, which is hardly a problem... except for the enthusiasts, relatively few in number, who will be facing the finish line and who will not will therefore see more of the headliners preparing during the quarter of an hour before the red lights go out.

On the other hand, the lucky ones will obviously be those, much more numerous, who bought a ticket at the height of the stands...

This is valid for MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and FIM CEV Moto3 races.
