Things are definitely moving at Honda which, after recruiting the two orphan riders from Suzuki, changing its project manager and reshaping the organization chart of the chief mechanics, is making a radical decision on its exhaust supplier. If the excitement is the same in the workshops around the RC213V, we are impatiently awaiting the next Sepang test, in a little over a month...

At Honda, we will remind you that the 2023 season will be done with the project manager Shinichi Kokubo which replaces Takeo Yokoyama. We will also remember that, among the chief engineers, James Guidotti passes from Nakagami to Joan Mir, thus pushing Ramon Aurin to the test structure instead of Klaus Nohles who will be alongside the Japanese pilot of the LCR structure.

Honda moves on to Akrapovic

On the technical side, things are moving too. Next season, all Honda will thus have a new exhaust according to the information read on GP One. In fact, the world's leading manufacturer has not renewed its collaboration with SC Project, choosing to rely on Akrapovic for its RC213V project in MotoGP.

The Slovenian manufacturer will therefore supply the exhausts for the RC213-V of Marc Marquez and his companions from the next Sepang tests. SC-Project will continue its commitment to MotoGP alongside the RS-GP of Aprilia Racing and RNF.
