Having barely stepped off his Ducati GP26 of the Ducati Lenovo Team factory team after winning the Hungarian MotoGP Grand Prix at the Balaton Park circuit, Marc Marquez spoke in front of the cameras of the official website MotoGP.com with the great joy of symbolizing his return to the forefront with this 100th career victory, his 74th in the premier category…

(I.e. 100 wins for Ducati and now 100 wins in your career, Marc! And you did it in the most "Marc Márquez" way possible: after the highs reached in Japan and the most difficult moments in Indonesia, after nine months of rehabilitation, you're a Grand Prix winner again. How does that feel?

Marc Marquez: "I'm super happy! It's a hard-won victory, because you know, after last year, everything changed. But that's sport: from one day to the next, everything can change."
I'd already learned that in 2020, and then again last year. So we came back and worked hard. There were some difficulties during this first part of the season, but I knew that, maybe—I don't know if I'll have more opportunities in the upcoming races—but I knew there was a great chance to win here. The feeling wasn't perfect on Friday, but on Saturday we made a real breakthrough.
I simply want to thank the people who believed in me: the doctors, the physiotherapists, all those hours spent working at home.
"Yes, you know, the price to pay was high, but I'm happy to be back."
