Marco Bezzecchi has proven his ability to adapt to new tracks in the past and hopes to be just as fast on Balaton Park.

This Thursday, most of the riders explored the Balaton Park circuit on foot, by bike or scooter to get to know the layout and start working on it. This is the case for Marco Bezzecchi, who hopes to adapt quickly so as not to break the solid dynamic he has been in for seven Grands Prix. "We're coming off a positive run of results and we'll try to work hard to give our all in Hungary, as always.", did he declare.

The Italian rider has therefore learned the circuit as much as he could remotely. In the past, he had shown his quick adaptation when the Indian Grand Prix arrived on the calendar by winning it in 2023. However, he is aware that the situation is different, with a different bike, as he was riding a Ducati at the time.

“It’s great to tackle a new track, it’s always interesting to discover new places, especially with a MotoGP bike. I’m very curious to see how it will be. I watched some videos, I also chatted a bit with Pecco [Bagnaia] and with Francky [Morbidelli], who rode here with the other Ducati riders. The circuit is a bit small but it looks cool and a lot of fun, there’s big braking. I hope it will be as good with MotoGP bikes.”, he added during the press conference organized by MotoGP.com.

“It’s never easy when everything is new. It’s hard to learn everything quickly. It went well for me in India, but it’s nothing like today. To prepare, I watched videos, there are plenty on the internet, I also followed the Superbike round that took place here. Luckily, our test rider rode here so we have data to look at. That’s all I can do to learn as quickly as possible.”
