In a 2016 season marked by nine different winners, Dantean conditions, two private riders who achieved success, one of them twice and the return of Ducati to the top of the podium, what was the best Grand Prix of the year? Difficult to say. But fortunately, the Grand Prix Commission is here and put an end to the dilemma.

La Grand Prix Commission does not know the winter break. While drivers and teams have gone into hibernation, she continues her duties and makes decisions. Before definitively closing the 2016 financial year, we had to decide on the best Grand Prix contested. And the choice fell on the latest entrant: austria.

The Red Bull Ring was therefore in the spotlight. This is the track KTM which saw Ducati return to victory thanks to a Andrea Iannone since left for Suzuki. It took place last August and brought together no less than 215 spectators over three days. The event, which had not appeared on the calendar for 850 years.
