That the passion for MotoGP has captured part of the Indonesian population is an understatement well illustrated by the video below, 8 hours long, when we see “only” certain Moto2 and Moto3 riders.
Thousands of residents flooded the streets of the town of Mataram, on the island of Lombok, to attend the MotoGP parade on Wednesday, shouting their support for Daniel Holgado, Jaume Masia, Jeremy Alcoba and other Filip Salac. We can imagine what it would have been like if the MotoGP stars had gotten into the white pick-up to wave Indonesian flags while preceding the parade of Indonesian bikers...
The public for this 15th round of the MotoGP world championship is therefore as hot as the local weather, and we can't wait to hear the clamor from the stands on the Mandalika circuit, which could well rival those of India!
