Indonesia Alex Marquez

Finally, Alex Marquez is doing well in Indonesia! While the race looked complicated at first due to Ducati's underperformance in Mandalika, the Gresini driver brilliantly fought for the top 3. Even though all his thoughts were focused on his brother Marc, who was seriously injured, he was still happy with an important result. Indeed, thanks to his drivers' double podium finishes, Gresini Racing has now won the trophy for the best independent team of the year.

Alex Marquez's first words were, of course, for his brother, injured in Indonesia. « I cannot express my joy, because I have noneI know it's a positive outcome, but Marc is in bad shape, and that's all that matters now. Witnessing this accident is difficult. It's clear: Marco made a mistake. He was too optimistic.. You can't overtake like that here. But I don't blame Marco. We have 44 races a year, and I think it's impossible to finish the season without making mistakes. » he declared for Motosan.

He also congratulated his teammate Fermin Aldeguer, who won the premier class for the first time. « When I saw him take the lead, I said to myself: "See you later, he's leaving." He had an impressive weekend, he adapted better than us and worked better. There are no excuses." he said about it.

Alex showed great fighting spirit during the GP, and he is very satisfied with it. « My front device broke just as I triggered it and the bike lifted up at the front. Despite everything, I got off to a good start. In the first corner, I managed to gain a few positions on the outside, with a bit of luck, then it was a race of waiting, without making any mistakes. I'm happy, we saved the day. » he concluded.
