Jorge Martin dominated qualifying for the Indonesian Grand Prix, round 15 of the 2024 MotoGP, by taking pole position at the Mandalika International Circuit. The Spanish Pramac Racing rider caused a sensation by setting a lap in 1'29.088, an unmatched time and synonymous with a new track record. For Martin, it is the 19th pole in MotoGP and the 40th of his career, further consolidating his place among the fastest riders on the grid. The performance also marks the 12th pole of the season for Ducati and the 100th in the history of the brand.

In the first line, Marco Bezzecchi, despite a fall at the end of the session, was able to bounce back to finish 0,535 seconds behind Martin. Mir also makes a mistake.

MMarquez, very fast, gets the better of Acosta, he recovers 3rd position.

Behind Martin makes his comeback, he is 13th

Things are heating up between Morbidelli and Acosta.

Bezzecchi misses the brakes…which benefits MMarquez.

With 7 laps to go, Bagnaia holds on to the front positions ahead of Marquez, Bastianini, Bezzecchi, and Acosta.

Martin is unable to get back into the pack with 5 laps to go, he is 12th

Small gap from Bagnaia which allows MMarquez to get closer...but the official Ducati is hard to beat...he takes back 1/2s...2 laps left.

Fall of AFernandez.
