At the Italian Grand Prix, Marc Marquez qualified on pole position for the sixth time this season and for the third time in MotoGP at Mugello, after 2014 and 2019. He set a new all-time record at the track. He secured his 100th pole position in all categories (and his 72nd in MotoGP). He is the first rider in history to take 100 poles in all categories.
He won his eighth victory in Sprint so far this year and his ninth overall. He leads the World Championship with 245 points, 35 points in front of his brother AlexHe will be aiming for his second MotoGP victory at Mugello, after 2014, and his fifth of the season so far. It would be his 93rd victory in all categories.
Pecco Bagnaia its qualified second for his best qualifying result so far this year and his best since the Solidarity GP last year, when he last won the Sprint. He finished third in the Sprint, his fifth Sprint podium so far this year, all of them third. He will be looking for his fourth consecutive victory at the Italian GP on Sunday.


Alex Marquez qualified third for his eighth top-three finish so far this year. He finished P2, his ninth consecutive Sprint podium. This is now the nine Sprints in 2025 that have been a Marquez 1-2 – Marc-Alex or Alex-Marc. He will be looking for his second MotoGP win on Sunday with Spain earlier this year.
fabio quartararo qualified for the fourth year as the best non-driverDucati, for his fifth top-six qualifying result so far. He finished 10th after qualifying fourth, but on Sunday he will be aiming for his second podium since the start of the year with Jerez when he finished 2nd.
Maverick Vinales qualified fifth, equaling his best qualifying result since joining KTM this year. He finished P4 in the Sprint, his best result in this race since riding my RC16. He will be aiming for his first MotoGP win or podium with KTM, his best result to date being a P4 at Jerez.
Ducati is on his 23rd consecutive Sprint victory and will be aiming for his seventh win this season, and his fourth consecutive victory at Mugello.
