Alex, another superb race, putting pressure on Marc until the end. How difficult was it to manage in such high temperatures?

Alex Marquez : “Yeah… you know, I tried from the beginning when Pecco was in front. I saw I had a bit more speed at that point, so I thought, ‘OK, I have to get in front to avoid overheating the front tire,’ and I tried then. The first corner was really great, the three of us were parallel, it was awesome. Then maybe I pushed a bit too hard, not the right way for these hot conditions and for the tires. So I put a bit too much strain on the tire. But hey, I tried, and that’s what I had to do. I’m happy with this race. Tomorrow will be a long race, but we’re ready for it.”
