Among the officials Ducati, motocross is seemingly a constant. We will thus recall that Petrucci was keen on the subject while Dovizioso is truly bitten by it. But the newcomer in red Jack Miller isn't the last one to jump over bumps, roll in mud and breathe dust either.
The proof with this participation as a competitor in a classic in Australia which is the North Brisbane Cup. A competition which was disrupted by the rain but hence the factory driver Ducati returns with a podium in the MX Open category after several days of competition.
Miller wrote on his network Instagram : " there's no better way to start the year. It was great fun until the rain came ". The Rookies Cup driver, Billy van Eerde, was also at the start and won in the Pro 450 cc category.
Jack Miller prefers motocross to the Panigale V4S
We will recall that if Miller engages in motocross, others like zarco or, Martin, the new duo at Pramac, prefer to ride on the circuit with a Panigale V4S. After the 2020 season the 26-year-old driver moved from Pramac Racing to the factory team where he will form a new team with Francis Bagnaia.
After the cancellation of road tests at Sepang due to the health crisis, test drivers and newcomers will go out on the track for the first time during the so-called shakedown test at Qatar on March 5. It will be followed by two other days of testing on the Losail international circuit on March 6 and 7 and then from March 10 to March 12. Afterwards, it will be the big jump in the 2021 season...
