Barely got off his official Honda RC213V after obtaining pole position for the Japanese MotoGP Grand Prix on the Motegi circuit, as he did in 2019 for the last time in his career,  Marc Márquez spoke in front of the cameras of the official website MotoGP.com with the satisfaction of having made the most of the high grip of the Japanese track in the wet... in front of his boss!

We report his remarks here without any formatting.

Marc, congratulations on this pole position! The first since the last time in Japan, after three years and four operations: Does today's operation erase all the suffering?
Marc Márquez : " (laughs) Yes, I am very happy to be in pole position. This morning I already felt really strong in the wet and I said to myself "OK, if it's wet in the afternoon I'll try". It's only a pole position, and it's in the wet, but from where we come from and in Honda's situation, it's really important for all the Japanese staff, really important for me, and for the future, to achieve this small goal. Tomorrow, in the dry, it will be a different race, a different story, but today it is like this and we are going to celebrate it ! »
